We've had the feature on BandBase where members can become a "fan" of a particular performer for ages. All it did was put your avatar in the "Fans" box on the bands' pages. That is, until now!
If a performer updates their gig guide, and you are a fan of that performer, you will receive a small email to notify you that there are new gigs. We'll even send you a link so you can get straight to the latest updates!
You can opt out of the emails (if you really want to!), by simply turning off Email Notifications in your preferences.
We've been thinking about other useful things a fan might want, so what about your personalised gig guide? What if every time new gigs were added to performers that you are a fan of, we added them into your personal gig guide for you? Sounds cool? Watch this space.
