What is BandBase?
BandBase is a website that allows you to find live entertainments near you. It has a thousands of pages on different live acts, and venues.
What about membership?
Most of the information on BandBase is available to anyone. Being a member allows you build yourself your own page. On this page you can tell the world something about yourself, and build your list of favourite bands/acts, and find and meet friends.
How much does it cost?
Joining BandBase is free, and it always has been free.
How do I add my band to the website?
You have to join up first. Create your account, which is your personal page on the site. The details you give are about you, not your band. Once you've joined up, you can add as many bands as you like. Each one will have it's own set of pages.
How do I get my gigs listed?
Assuming you have joined up, you register your bands, then You add your gigs to each band individually. These gigs will then be searchable on our national gig guide.
How many photos and MP3s can I upload?
At the moment, we allow 5mb of space per band. This is usally enough to upload a few photos and a couple of sample tracks.
My band/act is on BandBase already, but I didn't put it there, so how did it get there?
We add as many gigs to the site as we can. If find out a band has lots of gigs to be listed, we will list the band too. This makes searching on our site easier. Don't worry though, if you join up and let us know, we can give you control of your band.
I see BandBase sells concert tickets. Is it safe to purchase from you?
We don't sell them directly. We just point you to the world's biggest website for buying tickets - Ticketmaster, and you buy your tickets from them.
