Who are we?

BandBase is your local directory of bands and entertainment professionals near you.

We have been in the entertainments business as performers and management spanning three decades, and have been involved with countless live music events, corporate functions, parties and weddings. You name it, we've done it!

BandBase started with a simple idea: To give live music performers a presence on the web and bring them altogether under the same site.

BandBase gives you these services for FREE!

BandBase allows you add multiple bands / solos / duos, and manage your content for each via a single account. You can upload multiple photos and music files, and embed your YouTube videos into your pages. Add your gigs, and they become instantly searchable using our location-based search engine.

Use your BandBase account to its full potential by completing your profile, adding your skills and location, and let our visitors find you and make contact. Looking for that elusive next band member? You might just find them here. Maybe someone is looking for you!

Our "People Finder" can find professionals in the live entertainments business (be they performers, technicians or management), within any specified location and area in the UK!

At BandBase, we love social media. Our Facebook page is constantly fed with news and updates about what our members are doing. So as your add your gigs, updates and notifications are automatically posted to our Facebook page. We even email your fans and tell them you have new gigs!

Tools for your website

We have a number of FREE widgets available for free for you to use on your website, blog, and even your Facebook page.

A widget is a small piece of code that you put on your pages, and content from BandBase is instantly included.

To get started, log in to your BandBase account and go to the Tools. Choose Band Gig Guide, and select your band. Configure it how you need it, and copy the code snippet to your website.

You can have gig listings for your band or venue included on your own website, without any programming knowledge. We offer support with our widgets, and are happy to guide with installing the code on your site. We'll even talk to your webmaster if that helps!

What's more, if your listings on BandBase are up to date, then so will your website, because the widgets get the latest data, every time.
