The OZ are five dedicated, mature musicians who set venues alight with their primal, hard driving, individual style of rhythm and blues. To really appreciate them they must be seen; hearing is just not enough. As one fan said, ‘If you’re not tapping your feet or dancing you’d better check your pulse ‘cos you’re probably dead’.
The rumours that they used to be 4/5ths of The Rhythm Dcotors are true, the reason for the name change is a change of lineup and we felt we wanted to expand our range of songs.

Andy Congdon - Previously with AC/DC tribute band High Voltage,
Pete “Rattlebone” Tindal is one of the finest exponents of slide guitar in the country. Pete hails from Australia where he had great success with The Cherokees before coming to England with his own R&B and Blues band Rattlebone.
Steve Price plays guitar with a maturity that belies his age. At the audition he was in the band after playing three notes - his touch is that good. He is living proof that you don’t have to be old to be a Rhythm Doctor.
John "Barnie" Barnes - Fender bass man, Mr John Barnes, from the Romney Marsh Delta, doesn’t say much; he doesn’t have to.
Pete West - Drums / not allowed to sing....Wide eyed and tight of grin, maniacal drummer Peter West punishes his drums as if his one desire is to kill them! But really he loves them – loves them so much he could do time for it. He needs help, and he can’t sing.
So that’s the band – loud, talented, powerful, frantic, entertaining and bloody good. To really appreciate them, they must be seen – hearing is just not enough!
