Dick Massey and Kenneth McCluskey both featured strongly in the movie "The Commitments" as Billy "The Animal" Mooney and Derek "Meat-man" Scully respectively.
From time to time other members from the film make an appearance on stage, most notably on piano Michael Aherne who appeared in the film as Steven "Soul Surgeon" Clifford. Other members from the movie who have made appearances include Robert Arkins (Jimmy Rabbite), Johnny Murphy (Joey "The Lips" Fagin) and Dave Finnegan (Mickah Wallace) all of whom feature on the live CD "Committed To Soul" available from this website (see Merchandise)
