Excellent pub, this is the real thing. Actually on the beach (the sea wall goes round to accommodate it) and run by a great team under Dixie and Satch. This is a real pub with real character (and seriously sloping floors, walls and bar due to age and a serious lack of foundations), used by locals and visitors alike, packed to the rafters on music nights, with a friendly, chatty atmosphere with every age group mixing together. Best pub in Whitstable by far!
