About us;
Debbie brings a wide range of vocal talent to Dejavoo having trained in Musical Theatre at the Arts Educational Schools in London. As a vocalist, Debbie has been a professional solo recording artist, and has sung with Jools Holland, Mystique and The Madison Square Function Band. Past theatre performances include Richard O’Brien’s ‘Disgracefully Yours’, Russ Abbot’s Madhouse, The Heather Brothers, A Slice of Saturday Night and Bill Kenwright’s ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’. Debbie has also appeared on TV shows including The World of Benny Hill.
Keyboard maestro Perry has been a professional musician for over 25 years. He is equally at home playing rock, pop, jazz or blues - just a few of the genres covered in Dejavoo’s repertoire! Perry’s first love is jazz, and he played at the world-famous Ronnie Scott’s Club, The 100 Club and Jazz Cafe in London.
Jerry began the guitar first time around (at a suitable age, not recently) but moved onto the banjo (just like his Dad - ahh!) for a while. As a teenager, the guitar became more attractive again and he joined a Rock ‘n’ Roll band which eventually toured Europe and made a couple of records. After a few years of that, some years were spent with various local bands such as Winter’s Rain, Husky and The Bald Brothers among others, and standing in on guitar or bass for a number of bands, finally ending up with Dejavoo.
Tim, an accomplished studio bass player and teacher, began his musical exploits as a bassist in Kent bands Moving Targets and Juice. Across the years, he has played with the likes of Mayzee, Who’s Blues Band, Gizmo and Grabham Spink - and eclectic array of musical styles covering all genres. Tim has also played bass in the pit for many theatrical productions such as Fame and Billy Liar.
Rog has been playing drums for more years than anyone cares to remember. Starting in the early ‘60’s as a Shadows wannabe, he graduated to soul music and later into the heady days of Cream and Hendrix. Rog, a former professional RCA & United Artists recording artist, has played with Labi Siffre, Jackie (Keep On Running) Edwards; and has supported Traffic, Genesis, The Faces, Mott the Hoople, Jethro Tull, and latterly played in most of the top bands in East Kent.
