NewMoon
heads for the stars
Grace Solero releases new album
Grace Solero’s music possessescertain raw energy that few artists can convincingly convey.
Picture abubbling cauldron of sweat filled, ragged indie rock,
throw
in Alanis Morissette’s angst drivenvocals, mix with Skunk Anansie’s attitude and add a pinch of PJ Harvey andyou’ll start to get the idea of her sound.
A glorious sonic collision ofmusical influences, her album New Moon
is bathed indepth and versatility and swoops from the delicate tothe extreme.
Already championed byThe Fly and Classic Rock, it is a mesmerising musical repertoire with
heartfeltsongs, all delivered in
Grace’s gutsy, vibrantyet elegant and sexy style.
Emerging like a dark pop-rock cloudwith its gritty lyricism, soaring riffs and pain ridden vocals, NewMoon will be released on 26th October, preceded a weekbefore by the single Apartheid.
Growing up on the exotic Island of Elba off thewest coast of Italy, Grace Solero was constantlysurrounded by art and creativity. Studying at the Academy of Drama in Rome, shehad always been a natural performer and not long after picking up her firstguitar her musical gift began to shine.
A free spirit she movedto the UK to form a band. Her vocal versatility caught the ear of Californianguitarist
Dan Beaulaurier and an exceptional musicalpartnership was born.
Adding bass and drums to complete the line up, the quartet began to gaina name for themselves on the underground London music circuit. With Grace’sstunning looks and the band’s passionate performancesthey began to gain a loyal army of followers and a burning ambition to conquerthe UK and beyond.
The success of the band in the UK has since been reported in Grace’s homecountry and across Europe. A recent cover shoot for Italy Magazine sparkedfurther interest as the Italian Media backed their home grown talent.
Back onceagain in the UK, Grace Solero
will
also make an almighty wave on English shores when she shakes stages and blows mindsup and down the country.
