Majestic 12

Majestic 12 is an acoustic rock/pop band from Herne Bay, Kent, delivering high-energy performances with huge harmonies, superb songs, and a whole lot of fun. Formed in 2012 by Matt (vocals/guitar) and Colin (guitar/vocals)—both former members of the hard rock outfit Captain Mildred—the band quickly evolved into a tight acoustic unit with the addition of Steve on percussion/vocals and John on bass/vocals.

Their lineup flexes between a trio and a four-piece, but the vibe is always the same: tight harmonies, great songs, and a party atmosphere. Majestic 12 is proudly “backing-tape free”—everything you hear is played live, with real instruments and real voices.

Their setlist is a genre-hopping journey through decades of hits, reimagined with acoustic flair and vocal richness. From classic rock and indie to pop and soul, they bring a fresh energy to every cover, making familiar songs feel brand new.
