Zac Schulze

Zac Schulze is a rising force in the UK blues and rock scene, renowned for his fiery guitar work, gritty vocals, and high-octane stage presence. Hailing from Gillingham, Kent, Zac formed The Zac Schulze Gang in 2020 alongside his brother Ben Schulze (drums/vocals) and bassist Ant Greenwell (bass/vocals). Together, they’ve built a reputation as a relentless touring trio, tearing through the UK, Ireland, and Europe with a sound that fuses blues, rock, punk, funk, and soul.

Drawing inspiration from Rory Gallagher, Dr. Feelgood, and the raw energy of '70s pub rock, Zac’s playing is both technically sharp and emotionally charged. He’s known for prioritizing groove and grit over flash, delivering songs that hit hard without sacrificing soul.

In 2023, the band’s momentum hit a new high when they were invited to perform at Eric Clapton’s legendary Crossroads Guitar Festival in Los Angeles, where they impressed audiences and earned an encore slot. That same year, they were nominated for three UK Blues Awards, cementing their status as one of the most exciting young acts in the genre.

Their debut EP Made of Three showcases Zac’s songwriting chops and the band’s tight chemistry, while their live shows—whether in sweaty clubs or on festival stages—are a masterclass in raw, rootsy power.
